Walrus: Rare Visitor

It's not every day you visit a public beach and see a walrus resting on the rocky shore. This was exactly what happened at Middle Cove Beach in '22. Nobody knows why the walrus came ashore. It looked tired and weak and spent most of its time asleep before heading back to sleep. Many people came to view the walrus and nobody had ever seen a walrus before. This is one of my once in a lifetime Newfoundland experiences.
