Flatrock, Newfoundland

The community of Flatrock offers stunning views of the ocean and rugged coastline. It is a culturally rich community rooted in the fishing industry. The rugged East Coast Trail (Father Troy's Path) can be accessed in Flatrock. It is also home to the "Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto", a historic spiritual site consisting of Catholic religious statues built in a large outcrop overlooking the community. An ocean lookout, the site of the blessing of the fleet memorial plaque, offers breathtaking ocean views and is a great place to look for whales and icebergs in season.
